The Mind Behind Salzata
Who am I?
Hi, my name is Kailash Bharat. I've been a Software Engineer for over 4 years. During that time, I’ve obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and contributed to 20+ personal & professional projects.
Why me?
I first fell in love with Bachata back in 2010, when Prince Royce release his first album “Prince Royce”. At that time, I was 9 years old, oblivious to the world of Latin dance. But there was something about those songs that made me think "I want to dance to this...".
My urge to dance grew stronger, but I was shy and afraid to take the plunge on my own. So in 2019, when a classmate asked me to be her Salsa partner for a school dance, I jumped at the opportunity! From that point onwards, my fears were gone.
As I learned more about the world of Latin dance, I started to realize that lots of studio owners use outdated systems and technology. They don't fully take advantage of the tools we have nowadays like AI and Automation. So that's why I have chosen to create Salzata!
